Back from the nether regions...:


Well for the most part I think I'm back at deviant. The past year has been tough but also busy and I haven't really had time to do anything here, but I've missed you all.

Don't forget that you are not alone in this world no matter how alone you feel at the time. Take time to see the beauty in the natural world and the people that live in it. You would be surprised to see how engaging a butterflies flight path, the conversation between local dogs, the sway of a dandelion in the breeze, the symphony of a rain storm, the smile of a neighbor or the loving gaze of one that loves you is... take the time to smell the roses and live in the moment, you will find that the world is not as bleak as the daily media shows us.

Due to my daughter being on school holidays for the next 2 weeks, I won't be around much but I will still try to get on ans check messages and update my 'sketch a day'.

A Sketch A Day:



I have decided to actively improve my skills. It is one thing to do drawings/illustrations/painting/commissions etc that take a few days, weeks or even months to complete one BUT is it another thing to do a time limited sketch a day that makes you focus on something new and different for a short period on a daily basis. So using a brand new sketch book and a random word generator I will be doing a half hour sketch.

Here I will keep you guys posted on my progress on a weekly basis.

Hi Everyone and a special hello :squee: to all my new watches over the last few months.

I know it has been a LONG time since I have had a journal entry and so of that is because since christmas life has been crazy but some of it is just plain lazyness :giggle:.
